Today I nearly had to pawn my watch to get petrol. Since when does petrol go up 14 cents in 4 hours?? I then used my precious fuel to go to JB Hifi, in search of a few cds, mainly the new death cab album (which i have, but don't HAVE)...even though I knew it would not be there, i had nothing to do and thought it would be a nice excuse to purchase more cds. They didn't have any of the six cds i was really looking for...and they were also reorganising the alternative section so everything was everywhere. Feeling distressed and confused, i left empty-handed (Which, if you knew me, you would be asking me to seek help to see what was wrong). Finally I went to the newsagency in search of the new issue of my much-loved magazine Frankie (which usually results in much of my time spent browsing newsagencies for around two weeks, cos I never remember when it comes out). Finally, today proved worthwhile when I spotted a lone issue on the top shelf. I was so happy that I didn't mind not winning on my two-dollar scratchie, which the old newsagency man made me purchase in order to reach the eftpos limit. holidays toy with my emotions.
p.s. last week i went to melbourne and shopped like lindsay lohan.
